PATONS can manufacture hoop style panels to produce a feed containment area suitable for your herd size.
Each set of panels are 2850 mm in length and by joining these together the number of animals feeding at once can increase.

Each set (2 panels) of panels enables an additional 10 head to feed. With each additional set of panels - a stay bar is required. These are pinned into the ground to add further to the strength of the frame

These feed pads are best positioned on a pre formed raised platform to minimise heavy bogging around the area from animal traffic. The addition of wood chip in the immediate area around the pad helps keep the area firm.

If possible try to avoid one long unit for the entire herd to feed from. Two smaller units in a parallel formation will keep the dominant animals in there own areas and allow a more successful participation across the herd.
