Tank Fittings
Please remember your new Paton Tank comes with a 1“ ball valve tap and tank flange, inlet strainer and an overflow.
WHY ARE FITTINGS IMPORTANT?
To make sure you get the best from your Paton Water Tank, correct choice of fittings is essential to ensure the proper flow occurs in and out of the tank based on roof catchment and water demand.
CHOOSING THE RIGHT FITTING
For a small domestic household tank a 1” outlet fitting should be sufficient for use with a garden hose or pump. It is important that you receive advice from your plumber for the correct choice.

Tank Flange This is required to thread a ball valve or gate into for your water outlet. Also is used to join multiple tanks together as an equaliser pipe or maintenance outlet with a bunge. Sizes: ¾”, 1”,1 ½” and 2 “ |

Tank Boss This tank boss is designed for commercial tanks and industrial situations. It comes in 2 halves with 2 gaskets. Sizes: 3”, 4” and 6” |

1“ Ball Valve Tap This is the standard fitting on a Paton Tank with a chrome ball valve and a thread connection which will fit any domestic garden hose fitting. |

¾“ Lockable Ball Valve Tap This ball valve tap also has the domestic hose connection as well as a lockable lever system to stop any unauthorised access to your tank water |

Ball Valve Tap Chrome ball valve tap, for quick and easy water flow. Sizes: 1”, 1 ½” and 2” sizes. ( 2” inch tap is used with the CFA fittings). |

CFA Fitting This is made up of a 2” Ball Valve Tap and tank flange then fitted with a Victorian CFA approved fire hose adaptor. This is then ready for direct connection to CFA hose and pumps. |

Gate Valve A traditional brass gate valve with ‘Full Bore’ flow capacity. Sizes: 1”,1 ½”, 2 “, 2 ½” and 4”

Inlet Strainer This is the standard fitting on all Paton Tanks. This will stop leaf litter and most dust particles from entering your tank. Also available with UV Light Guard insert. Sizes: 300mm, 400mm & 500mm |

Moulded Overflow Fitting This corrugated fitting is angled at a 5 degree fall to stop drips running down the tank wall. Sizes: 50mm,75mm,90mm,100mm and 150mm (with tank boss). |

Corrugated Tank Outlets (CTO) These zinc alloy CTO’s are used when a male thread is required inside of the tank for an inlet ie ball float valve systems or tank joiner. Also can be fitted on the ‘inner ’ or ‘outer’ curve of a corrugation. These CTO’s are used on all Paton Reservoir Tanks. Sizes: ¾”,1”, 1 ¼”, 1 ½” and 2” |
